wow. that's quite an unfortunate series of setbacks. i'm sure Like Pioneers will tour the states sometime this year.

will do. did you ever get a chance to see Bound Stems live? this will probably be aggravating to hear, but they played a show in Chicago with So Many Dynamos a few years back. it was intense.

i understand that there's a difference between "this is good" and "i like this." i'm a big fan of sad fuck folk music, crazy dancey stuff, generic bands with fantastic singers and irregular time signatures. also cheesy synth lines and horrible plays on words.
