Thu 15 Mar – Flogging Molly, Street Dogs, Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band
This was the best show I've been to in quite a while. Reverend Peyton's Big Damn Band was pretty good, but I missed most of them from the merch table. I got toe see their last song, and it was pretty amazing. twopointeight was a big letdown. I thought they were really boring, and a from the beginning, it was really pretentious "punk rock," complete bullshit.
Then Street Dogs went on and they were GREAT! Started with Not Without a Purpose and played a lot of the best songs. When they played Final Transmission it really got to me. Mike knows how to give a great performance. I only wish they'd played You Alone…they never did.
Finally Flogging Mollywent on. They started with Another Bag of Bricks. Played all the best, along with new songs Requiem for a Dream and another that I don't know the name of. They played a great show full of energy. When they went on for the encore, Dave King came out solo and played Black Friday Rule acoustic for most of the song. After a while, the rest of the band came out and exploded into the song. They closed the show with 7 Deadly Sins. Like I said before, it was one of the best show I've seen in a while.
