Thanks for links! Yeah, you right - garage rock has changed. I actually don't like modern garage bands (well at least most of them) - I think they are....not so rock'n'roll as were garage bands in the sixties....In my band we try to recreate the spirit of that epoch)

There's a good garage compilation - "Uptight Tonight" - like Nuggets but more punk sound. It was the first garage album that i've heard.)

all this bs about who ripped who off,music is made to influence people and other muscians,enjoy the fact that thier music influenced other bands to do something in the same genre.so now we have more variety.and new songs ,shorter or longer,faster or slower,or completely minimalist to choose from.
i would not push the music i listen to on anyone.reccomend maybe.but then again who knows it may be already in your playlist.anyway ,if your into the same stuff,cool.send me a shout.
