I've loved Traci Lords's music since I was in high school. I find it amusing that critics anticipating her album were thinking, hm, another former porn star turning to music. Let us guess, it's going to be another disco bimbo Madonna knock-off act in the manner of Samantha Fox, right?
WRONG! Traci had been to London and fell in love with the electronic music scene there. She collaborated with Mike Edwards (of Jesus Jones fame) and Juno Reactor. (On the side, you may remember her providing vocals for the Manic Street Preachers's
Little Baby Nothing.) The resulting album struck critics as being… shockingly European.
I have always adored the track Fallen Angel. Here is the video for it. Enjoy!
