So, I've heard the songs you showed me and I thought they were perfectly well played and all, it just didn't have that thing, you know? Maybe if I listened to an album or something. I always have a hard time with newer prog rock bands. I mean, I liked it, it was better than I expected, but it wasn't nearly as good as listening to old Genesis or Yes... they reminded me of Black Bonzo though, and that's a good thing, Black Bonzo is a swedish band from the 00's, do you know them? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lyZfTGbajLM

Thanks :) Your Top Ten is also brilliant, I mean, King Crimson, The Who and Led Zeppelin (not to mention Pink Floyd)? Come on, perfect perfect perfect haha ^--^ even the bands I don't listen to in your top 30 I've heard very good things about

Hahaha, well, he can surely be your "least favorite" when the other two are bloody Ginger Baker and Jack Bruce!!! (one of my favorite bassplayers, BTW). The song is perfect, specially the bassline. That's one of the reasons why I love the song so much - besides the Harrison factor, hehe. It was the first "hard" bassline I learnt. That version is really good, I don't like it when Clapton does it faster!

I see, I'll check it out later. Thanks! I had no idea about that project, I thought he was retired and raising horses or something of the sort, haha! It sounds very interesting, same instruments as Morphine! I wonder how it sounds, in a "softer way". Ah, there are too many Cream songs that go totally unnoticed. I saw Eric Clapton a few years ago and what I was expecting was his version of Badge. That's "my" song, for a few reasons. And it was amazing to hear it live :)

No problem :) I think that song is amazing; but it sounds specially incredible at the R'n'R circus. Also, the Live at Leeds version is pretty awesome. Well it's good to know I'm not alone thinking the Stones are overrated! I agree with you, though Mick's charisma is definitely important (otherwise, I doubt they'd lasted long). That's so great you got to see Ginger, on what band? I love Cream, as well. I had no idea about that song; I listened to it again and I heard a vague resemblance (but it sounds a lot more prog-rock, in the Jethro Tull style). I looked that band on Grooveshark but there's nothing there, so I checked Youtube and I like it - they're a recent band I suppose?

I don't own many DVDs, but I do have a lot from the Who. The Kids Are Alright is just brilliant! Oh, and I have a mug with its cover, too. LOL. I love Traffic and I don't think I have particular favorite songs; but according to last.fm, my most scrobbled tracks are "Coloured Rain", "Don't Be Sad" and "Smiling Phases", which are all in a similar style I guess. I'm not particulary a fan of the Rolling Stones and Blind Faith was brief, yet brilliant - so I agree with your statement. Let's burn at the stake!!! hahaha! (besides, Mick Jagger can't really sing; I love how he was trashed by Ginger Baker -although he does that to everyone, even his own bandmates; oh, well!). Since we're going to do some bashing, I'll add that in the Rock'n'Roll Circus, even if it was about the Rolling Stones, they were really demolished by most of the other performances (particularly, Jertho Tull's "A Song for Jeffrey" and the Who's mindblowing "A Quick One While He's Away")

Thank you very much! I agree, Traffic should be better known. I love everything Winwood did (except in the 80's!). You too have great taste! And about the profile pic, I was watching this DVD a long time ago and I thought "that should be a .gif". I found it, and it's going to be in my profile until I find something to top that (I doubt it, haha!)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check those albums. I can trust in someone who has Quadrophenia as his favorite album. I think everyone should love it, but... Well, their loss.

Hi, I just released a new, very short classical track. It is a lullaby by Johann Kirnberger, who was a pupil of J.S. Bach. http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Music+For+Piano+Students+Volume+2/Lullaby+By+Johann+Philipp+Kirnberger

RAGGLEMAN
Hi fellow music lover. Thanks for the friend request. I'm afraid I don't have time for 'friends' on Last FM but be sure to drop by and check out some of my library any time you like. We have INCREDIBLY simila taste in music. I love all styles of music but my favourites would certainly include prog, classic rock and then one-off genius's like Tom Waits and Talking Heads. Having a bit of a Talking Heads session at the moment actually. Remain In Light has to be their best but it's difficult to choose between the others. More Songs ABAF always makes me smile. Anyways, keep listening and peace, Raggleman

:) the best part of that song being underrated is that the message gets literal to those who doesn't understand it (and that's why i chose it :p) and gets meaningful/awesome for those, like you, who know what i am talking about ;)
