For Tropfest, I've always enjoyed watching the films that eventually come on a DVD with the SMH so if I can find some people willing to go I think it'd be a really cool day/night out. I really enjoyed First Night when I saw Brian Wilson and also the Jazz in the Domain one and yeah there are tons of retards for the invariable party act but I have to admit it is pretty exciting the sheer energy of that many people. Although I'm pretty sure Evan's band Phobiac is playing on the same night though so I'd like to see them, on our horrible Central Coast. Also if theres nothing to do & I wake up early & I can be bothered travelling all the way to Sydney - very very very unlikely - I might try tix for nix for Grizzly Bear or Joanna Newsom or Camera Obscura or someone

Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially in light of fairly low expectations + sickness + no companion. Good setlist covering all albums. He was in a really gregarious mood & I feel we made out eye-wise at least once. Enjoyment diminished by - I dont know if it was just the fact I was feeling kinda irritable, but got kind of annoyed by stupid-fringed, iPhone brandishing, completely static, constant & obnoxious request yelling people around me. How about you, excited for the Collective, Akron? Did you end up ordering anything from BookDepo?
