This is my favorite albums that I decided to do one day when I was desperately needing to complete an assignment. I know, It's extremely easy to get detracted over the internet these day; not that i need a great detraction, cleaning the house seems to happen more often when an assignment is due. Like now, it's 1:45 in the morning and a project was due 8 hours and 45 min ago - working hard, I know!
Anyway, there were a few things that I used to gather this list. The first being that an artist can only have one album; this was to create a diverse range of my musical interests. With this a few albums miss out on the list (The Alan Parsons Project's I Robot to name one). Queen's Greatest Hits was a cheap cop-out, I know, but I couldn't decide between numerous different albums, so I decided to cheat and get a combination of them all.
A few honorable mentions go to Bob Dylan's Highway 61 Revisited, Dream Theater's Scenes From A Memory, Nick Drake's Pink Moon and other artists in Louis Armstrong, Grizzly Bear , The Kinks, Laura Marling, Arcade Fire, The Beatles and Belle and Sebastian. The major artist that I didn't place on the list is Eric Clapton's solo work. To me, this he his just amazing. The only reason that I didn't include him is due to the fact that I've counted Derek and the Domingos as his solo work. Also, he has another of his bands, Cream, in the top ten; so i thought, enough is enough, and didn't place another album into this list.
