So it's been awhile since I've posted an entry in here. But last night I had a little get together at my place and my friend Kebra brought me a great host gift – he got free copies of the Unknown Pleasures and Still reissues on CD at work and brought them to me! Polish Rock - Part 2 of 4

Recently, New York art-punk titans Yeah Yeah Yeahs released their second album, Show Your Bones. I was reading a few interviews with the band, and Karen O., the lead singer, turns out to be half Polish and half Korean – O. stands for Orzolek. Though she doesn’t mention it in any current interviews, I have the suspicion that Karen, born in 1978 in South Korea to a Korean mother and a Polish father, listened to quite a lot of Maanam at some point in her life.
