Dude, I just read your comment on the math rock wall, and wow. You are so wrong on so many different levels. Acutally, there is such thing as a 19/32 time sig for starters, though I have never heard a band use it. Most math-rock is based off of time changes between standard-ish sigs (4/4, 7/8, 5/4, 3/8, 3/4, etc.) and polyrhythms (which is having two different time sigs going on at the same time, which some bands like Meshuggah take it to the next level). Also you say they use made up scales. That is true, but not only is every scale made up (Bach "made up" the melodic minor scale), but some is atonal and others are modal. You also said that math rock bands are like grindcore bands with less talent, longer songs, and more screaming. First, math rock sounds nothing like grind core. Second, math rock is a largely INSTRUMENTAL genre. Third, go listen to Tera Melos and Hella and tell me that they are not talented musicians. Be a bit less ignorant the next time you bash a genre.
