I know. though I wasn't implying that Jackman rips off Heemann. only that both artists' music sounds similar. or rather that recording signed "David Jackman" sound more similiar to, for example, Heemann's work than to recordings released under the name Organum. as long as you're not gonna disagree about this I don't think that we have a conflict here :)

I haven't had a chance to buy either of the books you mentioned, but 'A Year with Swolen Appendixes' is recommended and frequently quoted in the David Shepherd book. I have 'Low' which is in the same series as 'Another Green World' and it is good but not essential. Also recommender is Eno and a friends book called 'More Dark than Shark' which is meant to be extremely good despite the name, however, amazon.co.uk has it on a bargain offer of £700, used, so thats a bit remote. You might be able to get it easier than me though, so if you find a copy which you won't buy yourself for a reasonable price, let me know. :)
