Yeah must say the puppydog look never struck me as attractive unless you're like, a puppy or something. That sounds brilliant. If only we had the skill and vision to make such a striking artistic statement, eh? I think we'd best stick to our fruitfaces...that said doing English is no better, I can't even walk into las iguanas without ranting on about how orientalist it is, refusing to speak until i've been allowed to read 20 or so pages of Virginia Woolf.

The Empty Set "As Neat As a New Pin" 4.) Je Suis Animal "Self-Taught Magic from..." 5.) Papercuts "You Can Have What You Want" (start with the Papercuts & The Crayon Fields hint*hint). as for the new lp from the Clientele i feel sufficiently ashamed enough that i haven't bough it yet (although the tracks i've heard are lovely!) cheers.

Yeah that boy has a real clammy, beige complexion. He looks so unhealthy. He has that lost puppy sorta edge to him which I think counts in his favour and i guess he is an 'artist' even if his art is scratchy underwrought trebly rubbish which comes out sounding like a badly-recorded Kinks b-side (can you tell i'm not keen?) :) Ahh yes the Clientele have a new one out do they not? With one of those fruitface paintings as the cover! Def. gonna check that out. Haha oh I wish i was, its not like me to pass up on some ironic misogyny, next time I go to a gig and theres a girl in the band i'm gonna lean over to the person next to me in the crowd (hopefully a girl) and be like "eeeh I love them bird-related bands, me!" It's all art to me, baby. Maybe that can be part of the whole deal - i give everyone in the crowd a tickchart that says: You have just watched: A) An Installation B) Music C) Pretentious, cod-profound, art-wank shit D) I think i'm in the wrong place, when are the Maccabees on?

If by foreign you mean American, and blonde you mean ginger, then yes :) but yeah Doves are definitely hairy manc fellas. I'm trying to think of other bird-related bands she could be thinking of...Swans? They do have a girl with a foreign-sounding name in them, but i think they're a little to '80s NoWave' for a hairdresser. How violent was this argument? What does your hair look like now??? ;) Well i was thinking of setting up a mic and then smashing the computer, thus creating music. Maybe I can do it at Southsea festival! Not that you would be there to see me of course, ticket or no ticket. Just so you know, I'd take your forgetfulness as a personal slight.

Tickety boo=ok? I like that!! I got a tooth crowned recently, and started having TGM shortly afterwards. Terribly expensive, and the dentist wants me to have 2 more. My teeth seem fine to me, why bother with spending a fortune and taking precious time to have that work done??? TGM seems to be less obvious as of late too. Yay! Oh God Prunella how long has it been? I think i've done a you. I apologise for leaving it like ages to reply, will the words 'dissertation' 'alcohol' and 'lazy' help heal the wounds? Probably not. Ahh the Leicestershire accent - to be honest i don't notice it much, but i'm from Yorkshire where everyone has a strong accent so i guess that might explain it. How did you manage to miss a festival anyways? Im no one to talk however, i just found out that I never actually bought tickets to the YYYs gig i'm meant to be going to in a week or so :( Yeah i've started mucking around recording stuff on the computer, just like that famous brother you said you have. Was that right? What have I missed in these two months then? I swear i've seen that song for the week before..? :)

Um, when I said "vote", well, you can only vote for them if they turn up in a random match-up, which could take several weeks to appear. Kittenwar is a great waste of time, but you tend to be all awwwed out after about ten minutes. So, what I should have said is "in the unlikely event of Minty or Tommy ever turning up, please vote for them". It all sounds a bit spammy, sorry.
