Oh don't be so hard on yourself. Forgot who originally said it, ella fitzgerald or someone- but "age ain't nothin' but a bunch of numbers anyway." :)

yes you're getting to be quite old at 24 :) I go through phases where I only want to listen to what I know too... then one month I will get a hunger for new music or seeing a show will set it off. anyway, good luck with your car stereo. It's so boring to drive without listening to anything!

hello! I found you because I was intrigued by the picture, and must have clicked it. :) I like to get friends on here with different styles, so I can listen to their radio stations to learn about some new music.

there's this guy who plays downtown who is obviously a highly skilled jazz drummer, but during the day he sometimes plays in the parks and at metros on this "junkyard kit" that he brings along with him, made of buckets, pots and pans, metal sheets, stuff like that, and it is so awesome!!! i desperately want to ask him to join our band, but he never would because he's awesome and basically a local hero. as for touring, we haven't played outside of DC area yet but hope to get to Philadelphia and New York at least in the near future.

oh my gosh, i like your picture. cute/scary. you might want to check out my band, Moon Pie: http://www.last.fm/music/Moon+Pie our song "what a time to be alive" is an "ass-shake throwdown rumpa" of junkyard psychedelia (i will confess that i found my way here through the page of things tagged "junkyard")

自我介绍

The records show the world at rest. The smallest hum of vibration; as felt wrapped wood primes the sloping surface of the gong for the strike, the world abound with bacteria, soon hard parts formed. Each starts with a tiny mutation multiplied infinitesimally over years the number of which we can barely imagine. And then with lamprey, and next with shark. The ripples become a splash as variations made many or manifold, specialize and detail. The ranks swell and expand, they fill each nook and corner. And next the fish and the toad. Their success is blinding and deaf, throbbing through esophagi and reverberating hollow chambers below, but even in that moment, ecstatic triumph, a glint in an eye or off sloping plated chrome, what's this? The dinosaur roams, the mammal skitters and hops. Moments without number, a single grain falling onto a mountain of sand, each hourglass resident never knowing, which is the last, which is the last? How many come and gone? The meteorite or volcanic flow or the flash in the pan or guttering of the flame, as each compass must gather the points into a circle, all species, yes, even this, describe the parabola, and assemble to make the ocean.
