自我介绍
I listen to a fairly wide selection of music, although I don't have any more than 50 CDs. I prefer electronica, rock, classical, blues, jazz, and hip hop over everything else. I often listen to instrumental music at the same time as talk radio shows or podcasts, when I'm writing I like to listen to either mellow and tonal music or upbeat and groovy music depending on what time it is (mellow in the day and upbeat at night). I enjoy picking apart music, identifying sounds and how they were produced. My all time favorite band (too bad I haven't had last.fm my whole music listening life) is Tool, though I currently explore more than reflect on old favorites.
I've been teaching myself audio engineering slowly for some time now but most recently have ramped up the process in hopes of helping the quality of a project with a friend. I played snare drum from fourth to eighth grade and played tri-toms for nine months during eighth. I can't efficiently read sheet-music yet but I'm learning how to along with what I can from the internet and library about music theory.
Music isn't the only thing I'm in to, actually it's not what I focus most of my time on. I spend most of my time learning about computers and anything related to them, I also spend a lot of time learning about electronics and technology in general. It's nice when I spend some time learning about both music and computers at the same time, I do this whenever I can.
