Hello Mark! No, I've never listened to Landberk, but I'll search about this band :-) Thank you, and have a nice Sunday!

I like it. I am not precious about Jon Anderson no longer being the vocalist - it is the music that matters and the new guy does a creditable job. The album has a consistent quality throughout with the final track being a stand-out track and the rest good. However the total package makes it one of the stronger albums of the year.

Wow thank you. Many new bands here, I must confess I have not heard of most of these. Certainly all absent from my library. One or two have been close to a purchase. One I expected to see was secret oyster another band that I have nearly purchased an album. I will let you know how I get on. Many thanks once again Mark.

I only have the two albums from Kebnekajse, Idioten and III. Both great but I am really liking Idioten. I will have to listen to their other albums. Although most of the music I listen to is under the progressive rock banner there is always room for a few folk, folk/rock album. Idioten already been played over twenty times.

I like the music of Kebnekajse, is creative and brilliant, I think. I love its first albums. Idioten is a good album too, but it's new to me and I'm listening to it very 'slowly' (I've listened only a few times until now). What about you, did you liked it?

I listened to a lot (probably too much) of God is an Astronaut and Explosions in the Sky was around the same time so probably suffered as a result. Now I tend to keep coming come back to bands like Maybeshewill and 65daysofstatic rather than classic post rock although more recently I have really enjoyed Collapse Under the empire, Ef and Soup.

I agree Mark, the Yes albums were created at a time when bands were under contractual pressure to produce too many albums - the albums of my youth always seemed to have filler tracks, thankfully something you see less of nowawdays. I shall check out the Wobbler videos - I can't see them on their Homepage. Are they on Youtube?

I just loved it. Efter Efter is very, very good, all the songs are special, very well played, wonderfully singing - I'm not surprised, this is usual in all of their musical production. I'm happy and deeply touched for listen to their new album. And Glorious War is simply fantastic, has a "touch of geniality", if I can say in this way. Well, as you know, I am a big fan of Trettioåriga Kriget :-)

Thanks again Mark. Yes I thought there must be a good reason why PoS do not feature. I also noticed that you don't listen to Marillion, another band with a lead singer that favours intense vocals. Daniel Gildenlow and Steve Hogarth are both talented and personally I think my library would be incomplete without them - but it is all a question of personal choice/ taste. Cheers Chris

Yes, I guess that is why I came across your wall as I am going through a bit of a Swedish Prog obsession at the moment. Do you listen to rock as well - I recommend Madrugada, a fine Norwegian rock band - you must know The Kids are on High Street, one of their best known songs? I see you have a couple of listens to Lalle Larsson - Infinity of Worlds is in my opinion one of the best albums of last year. By the way, found some Gösta Berlings Saga on Spotify - I am impressed. Best wishes Chris
