lel that sounds like something I'd do. That album is the best though haha. Also how's The Seer?

How could you had possibly known that Social Interaction is something I enjoy?! I am most overwhelmed with joy.

sounds good so far. i completely agree with swapping cromagnon for vulcan's hammer because i usually associate them with proto-industrial. how's the list of classics shaping up?

I've really been enjoying them recently. They crib a lot of things from a lot of genres (krautrock, lounge pop), and manage to make it completely unique. If you're interested I would start with Transient Random-Noise Bursts With Announcements. While we're doing this, where should I start with Bauhaus?

Man, I've just listened to Sounding Music. Until that, I had never really heard about them. So, I can't really suggest anything to you besides that (a very good album, btw). Radiohead's obscurity is 2,6% haha

Hi, I like your charts. I just did the "obscure meter" thing and got something like 57%, haha. Funny

The Lincolnshire Poacher is my favourite from the album. Numbers stations have always intrigued me. Have you heard about the Max Headroom signal interruption before?

This is not going to be based on your taste but based on what I find awesome. All folk metal though. Arkona - Ot Serdtsa K Nebu, Bran Barr - Sidh, Graj - Our Native Land, and here are the mediafire links for all three in order: http://www.mediafire.com/?xuofqenjnwq http://www.mediafire.com/?u5dv7tyxn6tyzay http://www.mediafire.com/?s0sdzxye8oducdu

I am quite certain I've already heard Fang Island, but I will give it a listen for sure since I don't remember what I thought about it. I have liked everything I've heard from Shostakovich. I will listen to his 10th for sure. On a related note, I loved Rachmaninoff's cello sonata. It's only piano and cello, I don't know if you're into chamber music. I wouldn't say it blew my mind, but it was close. Whatever. I have read about This Heat and they seem really interesting. I just haven't gotten around hearing it, but I really should. Thank you, either way!

For me Devin Townsend really blew my mind, but which such a large library I can't tell if you have already heard it. I'd suggest Ki if you like a nice blend of prog rock/metal and Deconstruction if you are more in extreme metal.

Stuff that usually blows my mind: Team Sleep, Giles Corey, The Brother Kite, Studying, anything by Mike Patton, all of the stuff I've heard from Sean Malone (namely Gordian Knot and Aghora) and I guess some post-rock stuff like This Will Destroy You or Powder! Go Away. Also, here's a link to some of my new project's stuff if you're interested. http://k-v-l-t.blogspot.com/2012/04/caves-of-glass-gone-from-oceania.html

Well, with 2,035 artists it might be hard finding ones you haven't heard, but here goes anyways: Will Haven (my personal favorite), Dillinger Escape Plan, Cave In (early material), Gaza, Botch, Narrows, Breather Resist, Misery Signals, Burnt By The Sun, Cortez, The Psyke Project, The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, Between The Buried And Me, Poison The Well (first full length is significantly more metalcore than the rest of their discography), Ion Dissonance, Sikth, Knut. Try those out.
