After spending 16 months at #1, the still awesome Darren Hayes slips to #2. I have been extremely addicted to Tiziano Ferro and his unbelievably amazing new album, and it was inevitable that he would ascend to the top. Congratulations to him!

Can someone beat Tiziano? Perhaps Utada Hikaru, who has a new (English) album coming out. But the first single, "Come Back To Me", is horrible, so that's doubtful. Other than her, I don't see any rivals on the horizon, as my Tiziano addiction will continue for at least a few more months.

Since December last year, Ayumi Hamasaki has reigned supreme on my overall artist chart, but with the release of Darren Hayes' latest album This Delicate Thing We've Made, that reign has come to an end. Darren's album is well on its way to becoming my favorite album of all time, and I'm sure I'll play it many more times the next couple of months, which will only widen the gap between him and the rest of the competition.

I'm pretty sure Darren and Ayumi will be my top two artists for quite some time, unless Utada Hikaru surprises…
