Mon 27 Jun – Kylie Minogue Aphrodite Tour 2011

I can't believe no one here came to watch her!! What is with you people?! It's Kylie Minogue for the love of God!!

The show was amazing, as expected. Her performance, the stage, the dancers, the dresses, they were all utterly fabulous!! I wish she sang her songs from Fever era more, since I grew up listening to it, but it was okay since she sang lots of my favorites<3

so here's the setlist:
• Overture. I believe it was Speakerphone, I was thrilled to the fact that this song started to play but it turned out to be just overture, oh well.
• Aphrodite. I kinda knew she would sing it in the first place. Love love this song<3
• The One
• Wow. Another personal favorite, I love how she made it different from the recorded version. WOW WOW WOW WOW<3
• Illusion. Aphrodite was one of my heavily rotated album last year so I was singing along to every single song off of it lol
• I Believe In You
• Cupid Boy. I. LOVE. THIS. PART. The dancers. With black briefs. And wide hat. God. So hot.
• Spinning Around
• Get Outta My Way
• What Do I Have To Do?
• Everything Is Beautiful
• Slow. I love how this turned to be a lil' jazzy, the dancers were so beautiful as well.
• Confide In Me. This brought me back to the night Hurts held their show…
• Can't Get You Out Of My Head
• In My Arms. THANK GOD SHE SANG THIS SICK SICK SONG<3 God bless Calvin Harris<3
• Looking For An Angel
• Closer
• There Must Be An Angel (Playing With My Heart) (Eurythmics cover). Lots of covers she did apparently. I didn't mind at all but she has lots of beautiful songs, she didn't need covering.
• Love At First Sight / Can't Beat The Feeling. I was a bit unhappy with this mash-up, not because it was bad, it was really cool actually, but I wanted to sing Love At First Sight as a whole. Oh well.
• If You Don't Love Me (Prefab Sprout cover)
• Better The Devil You Know
• The Loco-Motion (Little Eva cover). Kylie asked the audience which song should she sing, I just don't get why people chose this over I Should Be So Lucky.
• Better Than Today (Nerina Pallot cover)
• Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love)

Despite the location of the venue (which was like on the other side of the world) and the hellish traffic jam all the way there and the pricey ticket, it was all worth it. But eventhough I've already watched her live, seems like Aphrodite is still not on my side… okay I should stop.
