I've heard 65daysofstatic and Mogwai. Mogwai is real good. Heard a lot about GY!BE, will definitely check them out. And hey, thanks for the recos. I'll check them out for sure. There's this other band, japanese post-rock, Mono. Really amazing! Epic songs I tell you.

LOL. I don't know whether I'm impressed by your knowledge or embarrassed for you that you know all of this. :P LMAO@the featured role in Spider-Man! I remembered that! He was in it like 5 minutes! At least Hogan had long roles like Mr. Nanny, :P (The only one I could think of) Oh yeah! And in Rocky! And wrestlers seem to die very often. I always read about one in the news. I became more sympathetic towards them after that Wrestler movie, lol.

Comics fan, conlanger, net addict, and ne'er-do-well from Berkeley, CA.
My Last.FM tends to reflect what I listen to at work on my iPod: a stew of hard rock, indie rock, post-rock, various flavors of avant and progressive rock, hipster hip-hop, electronic (esp. jungle and breakcore), some metal...well, just look at the list.
At home I'm more likely to listen to jazz (esp. third stream, West Coast cool, and free) or classical (esp. baroque, modern, and early) on my stereo. But until they come out with a scrobbler for CD players, with a few exceptions that side of my musical taste won't be well reflected here.
My short and long tail are:
