Thought about you when I saw you in a random shoutbox. You still come around here? I see you stopped scrobbling some time ago.

Alvin Lee was a great guitar player & I went to Woodstock when I was only 15 years old which my older brother & his friends took me along with them which I'll never forget. Ten years After was an under rated band. I see that you have the band Traffic which their best album is High Heeled Boys but in an LP & not the CD which i still have the LP which has more songs then the CD. LP's are better then the CD's because the CD's don't have all the tracks that the LP's have which i have a large collection of LP's & a little smaller collection in CD's & also you won't find a lot of blues LP's in CD's & that also goes for classic rock like the Jimi Hendrix LP's you won't find many of them in full tracks in CD's which it's a shame.

Coolio indeed. Last bit of Blues I listened to was 24 hours of BB King when he passed away. I had it on whether I was in the room or not. It was very cathartic for me.

Hi, I have another new piece out. This summer was quite productive. I wrote a lot of new material and now have begun to record it. This is a blues piece. It features last.fm user re-kramer on guitar. http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/David+Tisdell/Blue+Etude+2+%22New+Orleans%22

Hey man, thanks. Let me know if you have any questions or needs any recommendations. Bombay Dub Orchestra is great, but I still enjoy their debut album the most.

I've noticed you listen to Trilok Gurtu. Some time ago Trilok Gurtu performed on Nguyen Le's Tales from Viet-Nam. I consider it a classic album in jazz fusion/world music genre and therefore dedicated a comprehensive review of the album. You can read it by clicking below. There's a translation tool in the top right corner. Finally, if you like the review you may also click "lubię to" button to like my website (on the right handside of the page). http://www.laboratoriummuzycznychfuzji.com/2013/03/recenzje-klasyka-tales-from-viet-nam.html

Hey, Here is my latest original piece. It is a hybrid sonatina; a mix of blues and classical in 3 movements. The overall title is "Chicago in Vienna". First movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+in+Vienna+-+Pinetop+and+Wolfgang Second Movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+In+Vienna+-+Muddy+and+Muzio Third Movement http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Piano+Fusions/Chicago+In+Viernna+-+Buddy+and+Papa+Haydn Youtube links are enabled on the last.fm pages. I had some issues with the last.fm streaming and download. Hoping to have that fixed soon.

Hi, I just released a new, very short classical track. It is a lullaby by Johann Kirnberger, who was a pupil of J.S. Bach. http://www.last.fm/music/David+Tisdell/Music+For+Piano+Students+Volume+2/Lullaby+By+Johann+Philipp+Kirnberger

That's another group for another time... There are already a lot of male vocalist / female vocalist groups out there, usually not cross-genre, but I didn't see too many combined male / female vocalist groups, at least in rock. I picked rock specifically because it's relatively under-represented in my groups, even tho it's faily over-represented on the site as whole. The connections are already fixed according to a scheme (fairly simple on the male side, rather more involved on the female side), but the radio will be far more inclusive, perhaps 1200+ artists, again per a scheme, but I may open it to further expansion thru some kind of nomination / voting process. Or I may not... Either way I figure the forums should be lively if people want to share and defend their own lists. So post away!

Be the first on your block to join my very newest group: [group]Immortal Rock Vocalists[/group]. The connections are based on two rock lists at www.digitaldreamdoor.com: Top 100 Male Vocalists & Top 100 Female Vocalists. The connections are complete: the radio is still under construction. Place note that you will hear some non-rock on the radio, because this is based on vocalists who may cross over into gospel, soul, funk, pop, and country. The connections are individual artists, but the radio will include any bands or groups they are associated with: in many cases the band is better known than the singer. The lists are the opinion of the authors and are sure to inspire discussion and dissent. Good! Bring your opinions and your own lists and jump into the fray!

just saw your question to bopvito about chick webb on lindyhopper. its actually a quote from kerouac. and not so much about chick webb but more so about slim gaillard. one of those beautiful moments in literature where someone wraps language around an experience of music in a way that captures an moment in our history. transcendence!
