Hehehehhh, well... allot of Baroque stuff is fast and demands the horns being thrown up while listening to it. Then again, this view is a little... off I guess... from mainstream classical musical devotees. Cheers bro! Thanks for the drop.

Ummm, which Susheela Raman is my fav? ... Can't answer that. I don't listen to songs simply because they're by a particular artist. I listen to the song. If it isn't evocative for me, then I don't care WHO is singing it. I listened to all my songs by her to see if I could answer you and all I can tell you is that there are two cuts that I like less than the others but beyond that, they are all equal... Perhaps thats true because I only keep the ones I love in the first place (although I do make mistakes and on occasion delete material when I listen to my Library.)

I finally figured out who you must have meant; I kept wondering. The only other person I could think of was "Lil Buck" Senegal. ...But yeah, Buckwheat is kind of a disappointment; mainly because he CAN throw down good stuff if he wants. But to me it seems like he got all tied up in the (very minor local) "stardom" of his early success and started try to do some sort of cross-over show that both lost the zydeco dance crowd for him and never won over any main-stream followers. Executive Summary: He got too big for his britches. lol

I understand. i love chuck berry also. Like i always tell people in my opinion he is the true king of rock and roll.He was out before Elvis Wrote his own music and played guitar like the wind.its unfair that he wasen't givin the title because of the color of his skin and a few bad choices in life. I like elvis also but there is no comparison to me who should have that title. Berry all day !!!

Glad you like Johnny the way I still do!! Yeah, his partying surely messed up his career many times. I pray he finds a better to cope!! When I was a young man, I 'went crazy', too, eventually realized that I was headed for destruction. I'm 'clean' today; but like you I love the blues and blues/rock like The Allman Brothers Band, and so many of the Texas greats!!

Licorice Pizza and Fairfax High huh? Sounds like you may know about So Cal a bit. I saw D Trucks underline Joe Satriani at the House of Blues before he joined the Allmans. He can play some slide. Saw Kenny Wayne with Joe at G3 at the Hollywood Bowl too. Saw Cray with Clapton at the Forum. Check out Gary Moore and Roy Buchanan. If you like Jaco, check out Billy Sheehan too. Later.
