Your first album, Almost Here was pretty bad. It's catchy, I'll give it that, but it's really just a bunch of superfluous crap. It sounds like every other album by pop-punk bands out there.

But your second effort, Santi, was amazing. It was harder, deeper, than the first. It made me think that maybe not ALL the bands on the Fueled By Ramen label were retarded. Ever since getting my new iPod 80 gig classic, I've been into checking out new music, or just music that I never listened to much before. I just feel obligated to fill up the iPod since it has so much room on it.

So I went to see The Academy Is... at Hampton Beach on Saturday night. I'm sure that I was probably one of the oldest people there, minus all the parents, and I'm only 20. I couldn't believe how many teenagers were at this show. Then again, I was expecting it. I just was hoping that I was wrong.

But anyway, the opening acts were absolutely terrible. I'm not into the whole pop-punk scene, so that is why I spent most of my time staring at my watch. Cobra Starship was probably the best of the four acts. They were cheesy…

The concert was AMAZING. The guys had so much energy and they sounded great. It was well worth the 2 and a half hour wait outside in 10-20 degrees (F) and then the 2 hours waiting inside of the building.

The setlist was perfect.

…it's 1:44 am and you can't sleep because you can't shut off your MP3 player that's playing songs from Light Grenades over and over again.

I got Incubus tickets for January 30th at Avalon in Boston! It's going to be my 2nd time seeing them, so I'm pretty excited. It's going to rock.

…And apparently all the pre-sale tickets are now sold out. That took about an hour. Quite an amazing feat, I'd have to say.
