Recently I opened up my music tastes to some bands that a few years ago i would have never touched, but they have totally redeemed themselves and they're considered worthy of my tome of music, for the following reasons.

- Hawthorne Heights: for their entire album The Silence in Black and White. I got this album to give them another chance, as I really wasn't a big fan of what others would consider "emo" music, but I love this CD. Love it, love it, love it. I would suggest HH to anyone, anyday now.

So, two years and nineteen days ago I was told about this wonderful fairly new service called Last.fm. So being the music collector/audiophile that I was I just had to check it out and get an account, and install one of those old last.fm/audioscrobbler plugins that they were still using to get on this service.

And now, over 2 years and nearly 100,000 scrobbles later, I have formed a great looking database that when looked over with a fine-tuned comb, you can notice what moods I was in during certain weeks, what artists that I've known for years but for…

I think that the band Mae loves to read my mind because their new album release, Singularity, has seriously struck me as it's explaining my life in an album form. I think that Dave and crew are amazing artists. I mean seriously, with these tracks:

if there was ever any track I could leave on repeat for ages, this is it. It's amazing. I've seen The Wedding six times, and they just started giving us new stuff lately for their upcoming album, Polarity. But the song is called "It's Time to Rock, Okay? and it's addicting. They called it "Rawhide" during their tour, but obviously they changed the name :) I love it. Absolutely love it. Time to set it on repeat. So far, it's 10 times in a row. :)
