Super Set II mixed by Yahel

Yahel is a famous Israeli trance producer/DJ. He is best known for his own unique style of uplifting psytrance. When I first heard the word , an idea which popped into my mind was: it's all about dark and creepy sounds but in fact, it's not that scary at all. Well anyway, I've just finished listening to Super Set 2 and I must say that this album is amazing. I love every single track in it.

Here is the tracklist:

1. Tears (Yahel Radio Mix)
A nice track to start the album. I'd give this track 4 out of 5.

2. Hanging On (Yahel & Eyal Shitrit Remix)
This track is definitely one of my fave tracks in this album. I've never heard the original version of this track before, but I must say that I fell in love with this track as soon as I heard it. It stands out among the others, I'd certainly give this track 5 out of 5.

3. Lo Kal (Yahel feat. Future Prophecy Remix)
It started out with a nice piano touch and electric guitar effects in the middle of the track. I like it except for the vocal. I'd give it 3 out of 5.

4. Ocean
The start of the track is pretty sweet with the vocal of Tammy. I somehow always have this idea that a track with a woman's vocal in it is always great. It deserves 5 out of 5. This track also happened to appear in Armin van Buuren's "A State of Trance Episode 283" listed at no. 17 as "Unknown Artist - Unknown title", but it wasn't the original version, it was a remix version by Michael Tsukerman.

5. Going Up
This track is the remake version of the track with the same title back in 1999, as appeared in In Search of Sunrise. It's 4 out of 5 for this track.

6. Show Me Love
I think it's more of a dub track rather than vocal but still, it is a nice one. I'd give it 4 out of 5.

7. Soul
It is impossible to not move your head to this track. It has a very nice construction, I'd give it 5 out of 5.

8. Free Falling
It kind of reminds me of Voyage a little bit with Yahel's characteristic sound in it. Not bad, though. I'd give it 4 out of 5.

9. DNA (Didrapest & Indra Remix)
My other fave track, this track melts my brain in a great way. It's a nice trance to fall into, I'd give it 5 out of 5.

10. Radio
Another track with Tammy's vocal and with a touch of electrical sounds. Nice one. I'd give it 4 out of 5.

The album also came with a bonus CD of chilled out trip-hop entitled, "Accept". It consists of 9 tracks by Roy Sela. Overall, I'd love to give this album 5 out of 5. Others might say that his music is a bit too cheesy, but in my opinion, he’s got awesome music. This album will definitely become one of my favorites.

I might as well check Super Set, I wonder if it is as great as the second one.
