Well this is a bit of a personal reflection of my year in music. I have undergone major surgery and have had a colectomy due to IBD. I have had to fight to get some body strength back and I have been passionate about music and gigs all my life. I have had to not go to some concerts. So I made it my mission to get better and kick start my social life again and go see bands with my friends.

Think this is the most bands I've managed to pack into a weekend. My 3rd and not last download. Well 5 days camping with sun, wind, thunder and plenty of rain weather didnt spoil the fun. Expensive catering and insane toilet queues didnt either.

Polar Bear Club were the first band on, and were already on stage when we finally got in. And despite not knowing their music I thought wow if this is the first support band then it can only get better. I have never known a venue so packed and really enjoying the music. I felt like this was a memorable set and they definitely deserve a 4/5
