Before she became popular, I read about her in a magazine, then looked her up on Myspace. I listened to what she had on the music player, and liked what I heard. Hot N Cold was what got me hooked.

There was a lot of hype about her when she was on American Idol. I didn't watch that season, but I downloaded her first album, and fell in love with it. Her new album is not as good.

Why Not and So Yesterday are equally atrocious. I only like a few songs by her. They're all from her most recent album, which is more electro/dance and less bubblegum.
