ooh… say hi to your mom vs. mike doughty. had it been two different songs by these bands we might have seen a different outcome, but i gotta side with Where Have You Gone? as it's one of my all time favorite songs.

i couldn't pick this song out of a line up. certainly i could pinpoint it as the magnetic fields, although i do often confuse them with jens lekman…

Who does #5 remind you of?
hawaii. i first learned of deerhoof while i was living on oahu. i got to see them in concert after only hearing a few of their songs on the college radio station. after the concert i was hooked. i went to another of their concerts the following night; and i am dying to see them in concert again someday.

Does #6 have better lyrics or music?
i'm gonna go with music. i don't think i fully understand the lyrics of this song. great melody, though.

anyone who does not like this song doesn't know their elbow from their ass.

honestly… it reminds me of last sunday when i went to wash my baby dreads for the first time and this was the first song that played.
i totally rocked this song in the shower, by the way.

well, i do enjoy sharing this song with friends, but i also really enjoy belting it out in the car when i'm all by my lonesome.
