I always liked the song. If you've never heard it before, you'll realize immediately that it's sung by Bob Dylan. It reminds me of Hurricane because the whole song is a story. The supporting vocals are done by the rest of the band: Tom Petty, George Harrison, Jeff Lynne, and Roy Orbison.

My only question is, How can the monkey man not know she's a dude??
