Martha and the Muffins are back on the scene. The band is set to release release the 25th Anniversary Edition of their 1983 album 'Danseparc' on August 4th 2008. Cherry Red Records UK will release the album. The album has been digitally remastered by Peter J. Moore (producer of the Cowboy Junkies' Trinity Sessions album) in Toronto. The album was originally produced by Daniel Lanois (U2, Peter Gabriel). The album includes 3 bonus tracks including the 12" inch dance mix of 'Danseparc', the b-side 'These Dangerous Machines' and 'Sins of Children (Live)' recorded at the Ontario Place Forum, Toronto, 1983. also, since you are into minimal compact, you may want to check out The Penelopes and Spankers. Morpheus from Minimal Compact is involved with both. The Penelopes is coming out on Citizen Records. both are being released very soon.

thanks! you too! my favorite Wire stuff is from IBTABA, but i am also really into the early punk/post punk stuff like Chairs Missing and Pink Flag. Also recommend the side-project He Said and specifically the album Hail.
