…with a melody or snippet of a tune rolling around in your gray matter? I think it started one summer as I was working in a warehouse riding a pallet jack. Bam! a tune jumps into my head as I round the corner of a rack of brooms. I thought I found the tune once or twice as a false alarm, but the song remained masked since the part that ingrained itself in my memory was short and had no lyrics. I knew it had an organ sound or Fender with the effect similar to one, It had a swell and it repeated.

I decided to break out my Creative Nomad Zen Xtra Jukebox a few weeks ago. It contained about 40g of songs I had deleted from my desktop hard drive. I have close to 5,000 tracks on it and was listening at work randomly. All of the sudden on my way home from the coffeeshop this morning it came to me Ironically - X-ray mind. It has a simple melody and cadence, but it stands out for some reason. I have been reunited w/ a song and it was Mad Season holding on in a dark alley for long 18 months not letting me forget.
