It was a dark and scary Friday night (November 9th). This was when I came upon a website on RAF: The Animorphs Forum, that had a song I liked the first time I heard it. I replayed the flash animation a couple times, and was determined to find out just what exactly was making love with my ears.

After a long search, I found out it was none other than E Nomine. I proceeded to download all their songs, in an effort, I came to the conclusion, that will be rewarded. I was indeed.

The song I heard that night, after the downloaded completed, and me going through song by song, turned out to be Schwarze Sonne.

Interestingly enough, thanks to last.fm, I already discovered, or at least, was introduced to E Nomine, I played the artist prior to Saturday (Nov 10) 23 times, and was sitting at number 153 on my Overall Tracks Chart. I'm not sure what happened, but I removed the songs I previously downloaded. Now, I have 88 tracks by the … band? (Removed the interludes)

So who is E Nomine, and what do they sound like?
Well according to Wikipedia (the bearer of all information), E Nomine "is a German musical project, formed in 1999. Their music, which they call monumental dance, is an unusual combination of trance/techno and vocals which closely resemble Gregorian singing and chanting."

Between Saturday morning, and night, I, according to trusty Last.fm stats, I played E Nomine 301 times, dethroning Era, who held the top spot the week prior.

November 13 generated stats, show the group was played some 200 more times, and now sits at number 23 (insert superstition here) on my Overall Artists Chart. They've been played 541 times, above regularly played Christina Aguilera (who I have been played ever since I joined last.fm 1 year, 3 months ago).

Update 1: As of Nov 17. E Nomine has been played 835 times, and currently sits at #19.

Update 2: As of Nov. 25. E Nomine has been played 1,017 times, and is currently at position number 16.

Update 3: As of December 2, E Nomine has been played 1,201 times, and has moved 2 places to # 14.

Update 4: With 1,448 plays, E Nomine is at #12, as of Dec 23, 2007.

Update 5: Now just outside my overall artist top 10, E Nomine now stands at #11, just overtaking Mariah Carey. As of Dec 28, E Nomine has been played 1,472 times.

Update 6: After 2 months, E Nomine has climbed to my #10th most played artist with 1,798 plays.
