Tue 7 Jun – Manchester Orchestra and Cage the Elephant
Wow. I'm tired after all that was said and done… all the bands were awesome, and to everyone going to the shows in Portland and Seattle, well, you're going to have a great time. Virgin was the first song played by either of the bands, and it was one of the best of the night. For Manchester, Simple Math and I've Got Friends were close seconds for them. While they were very good however, Cage The Elephant stole the show, starting up with 2024, followed by In One Ear, and many more songs. The best of the night was probably Lotus but Ain't No Rest For The Wicked was very impressive too. Videos, recordings, any recollection will not do justice to how amazing they were tonight.
