Favourites with (pseudo-)Latin lyrics

Here is my unsorted top of favourite tracks with Latin lyrics or with 'inspired by Latin' lyrics. Majority of tracks are dark and not very cheerful, so if you like pop music, this tracks are probably not for you. Here:

  • Enae Volare and Enae Volare Mezzo by Era
It is believed that this composition is written in the artificial language and has no meaning. On the other hand, words are chosen so that it sounds very interesting and a bit 'diabolus' ) And I really like its video.

    Inspiring.

  • Pestis Cruento by Daniel Bernstein
Song from video game Blood. The plot of this game tells the story of the cult "The Cabal". Members of this cult worship the forgotten god Tchernobog (from Russian Чернобог – The Black God). The Cabal Language is the offical language of the Cabal, known to them as the Dark Wisdom (Domus Durbentia). It is a derivative of Latin and Sanskrit and has two forms - formal and colloquial. The title of this track means "blessed (formal)" and the song sounds like monks chanting.

  • Ave Satani by Jerry Goldsmith
"Ave Satani" is the theme song to the film The Omen (1976). It was composed by Jerry Goldsmith and won him an academy award. The Omen won an Oscar for Best Score, with Ave Satani nominated for Best Song, one of the few foreign language (Latin) songs ever to be nominated.

The title means "Hail Satan" in Latin, in opposition to "Ave Christi". In an interview, Goldsmith says that his idea was to create a kind of Satanic version of a Gregorian chant and came up with ideas while talking with the London choir-master of the orchestra that was helping him. He decided to create something like a Black Mass, inverting Latin phrases from the Latin Mass. The choir-master, according to Goldsmith, was an expert in Latin and helped him come up with phrases - instead of saying "Hail Mary", they decided on "Hail Satan", and so on.

Sanguis Bibimus ("We drink the blood.")
Corpus Edimus ("We eat the body.")
Tolle Corpus Satani! ("Elevate the body of Satan!")
    Ave! ("Hail!")
Ave, Ave! Versus Christus! ("Hail, Hail Anti-Christ!")
    Ave Satani! ("Hail Satan!")
I am not a Satanist and not a Christian, so I like it. I also like its another version: GregorianAve Satani (The Omen).

    Impressing.

  • Carmina Burana by Carl Orff
Carmina Burana is a scenic cantata composed by Carl Orff between 1935 and 1936. It is based on 24 of the poems found in the medieval collection Carmina Burana. Its full Latin title is Carmina Burana: Cantiones profanae cantoribus et choris cantandae comitantibus instrumentis atque imaginibus magicis ("Songs of Beuern: Secular songs for singers and choruses to be sung together with instruments and magic images.") Carmina Burana is part of Trionfi, the musical triptych that also includes the cantata Catulli Carmina and Trionfo di Afrodite. The best-known movement is "Fortuna Imperatrix Mundi (O Fortuna)" that opens and closes the piece.

    Grand.

    Oblivisci tempta quod didicisti

    Translation:
Try to unlearn all that you've learnt

    Perplexing.
