I want to like this album. I really do.
It's awfully difficult, though. Most of it just sounds rather messy (I don't know jack about composition in music, but that is my opinion). It's also far too loud and takes Keane's bounciness to uncomfortable levels.

Personally, I prefer "The Arcade Fire," but that's my affinity for articles. It just feels right. Other than that, I honestly don't care. I tell people, "I really like The Arcade Fire," but then I might say, "I'd like to check that store to see if they have an Arcade Fire album I've been trying to find."
It's a balance between convenience and aesthetics.

I had two midterms today, I have to force my parents to pay my exorbitant student and housing fees, and I'm practically gnashing my teeth over how I'll register next quarter's classes.

I binge on songs. Like crazy. Most of the time, this leads to my sampling some of the artist's other songs and gradually developing a fondness for his/her/their work.
Sometimes, however, I'm not that fond of the artist's work in general, and in a few cases, I might even believe the artist's overall work to be total crap. What can say, though? Some songs are so catchy that I just can't get rid of them. This has led to my charts being quite unbalanced.
