Wow, so looking back at the old scrobbles is pretty interesting.

On 16th Jan 2008 I listened to "Faint" by Linkin Park a couple of times. One of those tracks I think I'll always love.

Then some The Gazette and Dir en grey. Two of my all time favorites.

I also listened to a couple of what I think are Dubstep or electro tracks.

Fri 13 Jun – Download Festival 2014

This was me and my brothers' 10th year at Download, and it was an awesome way to celebrate a decade of Download!

The first 2 days were great fun. There was a cool atmosphere in the campsite all weekend.

Watched Kunt and the Gang on Thursday! As funny as ever.

This year I seemed to spend a lot more time at the Main Stage, which is unusual for me, but there were some great bands on all weekend.

Sat 10 May – Beyond the Redshift

Beyond the Redshift was a great one-day event. I liked the set-up, though a little bit more time between bands for the walk to-and-from The Forum would have been nice. Still, it worked well, the lineup was immense, and the crowd was great.

Tue 18 Dec – Skindred

The Railway is a pub venue and not a big one so it made for an interesting setting for a band like Skindred that I've seen play various festival stages.

Security was tight, with sniffer dogs and searching on the door. Interesting.

Took way too long for the doors to open and it was obvious this wasn't going to be a confortable experience, but who cares. The place was way oversold, but it made for a fun time.

Mon 10 Dec – Rancid

First up were London punks Argy Bargy. Really impressed with these guys, they had some awesome songs and put on a great performance!

Legends Infa Riot were on next. They did their best to rouse the crowd and were another band I cam away wanting to hear more of.

When Rancid started the pit was insane fun, getting lost in a mass of sweaty bodies. Haha, sounds a bit dodgy, but a pit for a legendry modern punk band like Rancid is something you have to experience. The perforamce was great and a brilliant…

Not much on the charts this week. Main reason is my desktop dying, but thankfully I have since fixed it. Also, of course, my iPod is being lame and not scrobbling again. Sun 2 Dec – Kunt and the Gang

It's quite contrasting having seen Kunt play both the massive Download festival to a massive sellout and crowd, and the local punk pub The Royal Oak to a crowd of jovial locals. This was my 5th time seeing the man, the myth, the legend, live and either setting works just fine.
