history is a subject to a ruling government. yet the ruling government here was primarily russian... before 1991... the oxford and the other sources u've provided are based on russian interpretation of the kievan rus history. and uuummm, a school program of the country where the events took place, i'd dare to say is more credible, then an oxford publication. xD

legend or not, they are considered to be founders of kiev, and kievan rus. and i totally agree with you on vladimir being the most influential character in kievan rus history, largely because of bringing christianity into our lands... still kievan rus does not equal russia, or russian history... it's not that close as being describred in the literature, especially russian history ;).. i don't have the sources for that.. except for my history classes, but well... anyway, u know much more then a regular american would know about our history... so, cheerz! xD

Well, that's good to know. Always glad to thrust it into the faces of people who might like it and see where it goes.

You're completely right, that's what I think. But really, those two bands are good, I was surprised like "Wtf?! Good deathcore?!" ;)

You wrote that you're looking for some good deathcore. I'm not expert as I generally don't like the genre, but some time ago I've checked At The Throne of Judgment (it's not really deathcore, though) and Veil of Maya and they're good, you can check them out :)

I respect your opinion...but both we have different opinion, and is useless to discuss about animals and vegetables.

You can assume what you like, i dont really care. You openly have just contradicted yourself, claiming you dont know much about it and that you dont care, only to claim you know plenty about it when i pick you up on that. If you cant keep a consistant argument, why on Earth are you trying to argue with me? Im studying my degree in music composition, im pretty sure i understand music theory. I point it is the only version pertaining to that term; If you dont even know what the word gothic means, dont try to tell me im wrong. You cant add or change definations of words to suit your argument with me, before you try. And also, if you want to accuse me of plaigarism, i can do exactly the same thing for any source you try to cite. And so you get it, disagreeing with you doesnt equal wrong, it equals not agreeing with you. Dont like what i do, tell a mod. Otherwise give up, coz its not going to change =)

Lulz, motherfucker. My laptop is still dead so my internet usage is minimal at the moment. Also my 360 is dead so pretty much all I've been doing is playing Madden '07 for the past month(ish [give or take]).

Simply because when it comes to you, and your attitude, i feel no obligation to show yew any contact i have with the support staff about any issue, wether about buisness, mediation or contribution. Also, im a qualified composer and contributed and headed a paper accepted by the Royal Academy of Music on music genres in the heavy metal and rock scenes (prompted by my disgust at them claiming everything from progressive rock to death metal to be 'Rock N Roll' on someones A Level course). If you dont care about it so much, and you dont know much about it, how on Earth can you turn around and tell me im wrong? You dislike what im doing, thats fine. Not everyone will like it. Tough. At the end of the day, youve all been told openly that if you have an issue contact a mod and they can mediate. But as it stands, as long as the mods know the sources, it doesnt mean you have to, and it doesnt mean i have to openly throw around others work. Why do i think im right? Simple. Im the qualified one.

Ok this is how i think i can see this breaking down. Im purporting what it is in musicial terms as a musician and purveyor of music. That means, im working on the basis of what things are by musical characterstics. Your basing things from media, fashion and ''music sites''. Also id like to point out that Wikipedia's citations for the most part directly undermine each other. Half of them dont even agree what it is, and Wikipedia only cites the information that it suits the current users version of, often ommitting text written right underneath or above what they are citing. I mean, half of the sites on Wikipedia's citations AGREE with me, they are just not cited for those parts coz it doesnt suit the current articles ''owner'' (thats how they style themselves). I mean read the music in the form of score, either through tablature or another means of notation. Reading about music is usually pretty pointless from a media perspective i find =)

''you remove neutral and factual pages''. If they were nuetral they wouldnt read as PoV per the CoC and would cite reliable sources, not fan pages or open source pages (which again, are listed as non reliable sources). ''frankly i'd like to see these conversations where the last.fm staff endorsed you removing a wiki with over 200 citations'' If your talking about the previous gothic metal article, that was just a severly edited Wikipedia clone that had bits changed to suit its posters ideals. Nothing nuetral or respective of all views about it. ''both of which are the exact same thing.'' Maybe if your as clueless about music as say, Amy Lee. But musically, from a musical stand point, they couldnt be more different. But hey, do you read music? No, didnt think so =)

Locking a wiki would be defeating the point of open source contributions and is reserved only for extreme cases such as revert wars. I do not have to provide direct citations in a wiki here unless requested by a moderator, and i have already had a moderator AND the support team in conversation (which has been kept) endorsing the wiki. What i CANNOT do is force you to tag things more accurately, force you to read it, or even force you to care. But what i can do is run the scripting program to send you an automessage, discuss the issue with people, suggest more appropriate tags, and expand and link wiki tags to each other to form a network. Also keeping with the requests of the support staff, the tag specifically mentions the two different versions, even though i suggested they should be on seperate tags (gothic metal and goth metal). It also as requested discusses the reason for controversy and combinations thereof. I cant remember though if it links to symphonic metal - i should check.
