Mmmmm what show! They were the opener of three bands and only played about forty short minutes but it was sooooo goooood. I was sad that they were going to close wtih Get To Love but didn't have time. So sad.

After we trailed around the Double Door until Allison (it's her birthday today!) got the signatures of everyone in the band. Django is such a sweeeeety!

Fri 3 Oct – Ben Folds, Fort Wayne Philharmonic

Ohhhh this show was so great, better than Nashville. Ben was more on pitch, the set list was two or three songs longer. We got to hear Kylie (sorry Mel!) and he did Last Polka solo, I hadn't seen that in aaaages. Also, he did a second encore which was completely unexpected, having some fun with Hava Nagila and then since some guy had been begging him from the audience, ended on a solo piano version of Army. Hadn't heard that in a while either, solo I mean.

Well in an unexpected turn of events I got to see Kevin Divine at the last minute courtesy of Allison, yay!

He opened for an artist I'm not a fan of so we left afterwards, but got to hear some greats like Love Me I'm A Liberal, You're Old Damn Dad and Cotton Crush.

After we hoped he come out at the merch table but it turned out he was hanging out in the audience, and we didn't even notice until some very nice girl pointed him out as 'sitting right there…
