Thanks for the kind words! You've got all 4 graduated? Congrats! And as for them moving on, well...good luck, Pops ;-) Good luck to your ChiSox.

Hi Mark! My Dodgers are starting to pick it up, but I'm still not over last year. No glaring avi for me this season. Hope you are having a nice summer--Jessy in Oregon :)

Thanks for the contact. I am camping right now and kayaking but while running to the nearest town for supplies I caught an internet connection outside a school. Yes, too bad they did not get past Philly. They were out of gas I think. I hear Nashville is not a bad place to catch a game (better then Atlanta anyhow). Have you been to a Preds. game? Cheers!

Hi! You made a comment about Jethro Tull's "Cross-eyed Mary." I think Ray Thomas played flute in The Moody Blues.

Yes, I have to thank last.FM for helping me find beau jocque and the zydeco rollers, Just One Kiss is fantastic. Hey, here is another song/group that has me hooked these days. The Slickers playing "Johnny Too Bad" or "Nana". Listen to my library anytime. Got any interesting song suggestions? I will scan your library.

Hi Mark! Yep, baseball season is upon us once again. I've not gotten over my Dodgers blowing the NLCS so badly, so for now I'm going to pay more attention to the Mariners :D Jessy (hey--no glaring avatars this year!!)

So, Veggie Tales - that's what brought us together as last.fm friends. Gotta love it! I remember my daughter driving me nuts with those tapes when she was a kid (now a full grown, I know everything 21 year old, woman of the world...ha ha). I have no idea how that happened, but, yeah...stranger things have been known to happen. Nice to meet you! Laura from Cleveland, Ohio, USA PEACE AND CARROTS HA HA

No no - you didn't at all, I understood: it's just that I anticipated what I got (and have had several times before!) - some good-humoured joshing about my sometimes trenchantly expressed prejudices! You're very welcome (and quite right!)

I saw you pass through, checked your profile, and knew what I was going to get a shout about! Oh well, I'm still not keen on Rory - but as long as others enjoy!

Hi Drazba. I never did the Belew gig. I promote in a town in the midlands of England called Leamington and I didn't think there were enough jazz-rock fans in the area to warrant putting the show on. I was also offered Allan Holdsworth but declined for the same reason. It would work in London but not in my neck of the woods. On a happier note I am promoting shows with Peter Hammill, Robert Fripp & Toyah, Patti Smith, Hawkwind to name a few. Have a good new year and enjoy the music. Peace.

Hi from UK nice to see so much British music up there. Saw most of those bands over the years. Biggest regret was I never got to see Gryphon. Still keep an eye out for Richard Harvey's music. All the best Rob.

Hey Drazba. Thanks a lot for the Belew insight. Interestingly I'm actually a promoter and just last week I got offered a show with The Adrian Belew Power Trio.....AB with Julie Slick and Eric Slick (neither of whom I know). I'd love to know what material he does in those shows.I've seen Gabriel myself a few times. I must admit my favourite albums are the first 4 and Birdy so was thrilled to see him in London 2 years ago where the setlist was voted for on his website so there was some real fan stuff in there like Family Snapshot. Saw him many moons ago (81?) and he was supported by the Undertones!! What a bill.

Actually, Scandinavia is a real hotbed of prog excesses. One of these days I'm going to hog myself out on THIS \m/ :)))

Intrigued by your About Me tag line - puts me in mind of Richard Thompson's "Razor Dance"

Be as long winded as you and no excuses - I love connections. Talking of which, how did you get from Planxty to Pogues without coming across Luka Bloom who I see is missing from your library.

Not come across Dancehall before. Had a little listen today, and I'm not convinced. It's not bad, just not as good as the other stuff.

I like The Book of Invasions better, especially the way the traditional sounding "March into Trouble" morphs in the rockin' "Trouble with a Capital T". Their only problem was being overshadowed by the likes of Fairport and Tull, and not really sure if they wanted to be a Folk/Rock or a Rock/Folk band. Oh, and not always knowing when to finish a song. Having said that I do like to listen to them a lot.
