I would of said Elliott Smith or Sonic Youth, but Air are definitely one of them

What got you into number one?
My friend randomly gave me Moon Safari and I was blown away in a gentle breeze. La Femme D'Argent was one of the best things to grace my ears on first listen.

Why the hell have you listened to that so much?
They're literally easy to listen to. I can just stick them on any time and relax and enjoy.

Relaxing, having a few tokes or beers with buddies with them on, learning the keyboard just to play their songs etc

Favorite memory of the artist?
Probably Spain. Relaxing in the beautiful weather to the their beautiful music was A-1! That or coming back to a gaffe after a mad rave for the come down and several Jays and listening to La Femme D'Argent with an altered perspective. Incredible.

40-something (was listening to em while doing this) This account is pretty new since my last one got bollocksed up

What got you into them?
My mates convincing me that Richard James is more than Come to Daddy and Windowlicker

What makes you like them so much?
The diversity is amazing. I love the downtempo earlier 'Ambient' works and also the crazy drum'n'bass/jungle stuff on drukqs and the like. Literally just incredible music. Whether slow and relaxing or fast and at neck breaking speeds

Would you pay thirty dollars to see them in concert?
Definitely. Its still cheaper then many gigs here in Ireland and they'd defo have some awesome support acts. But to see them live would be worth it alone

Aerodynamics - First song I heard by them and fell in love with it.
The Prime Time of Your Life / The Brainwasher / Rollin' & Scratchin' / Alive - From the live album. This song just reinstats how freaking hard Daft Punk go when they want to.

Elliott is probably my all-time fave artist. Its just that I've probably over-listened to him and I usually only listen to him in certain moods…I guess. Vitalic is awesome, just hasn't reached as high as the others.
