In the Chart mode: How are the chart changes compared?

If you select for example a period of time of three months, it calculates the changes using a chart for a time interval finalizing in the first date of the selected range and starting three months before.

What do the colors in the wavegraph mean?

In the default settings, the color gamma(Red-yellow-green-blue) represents the point of the time in which the artists first appear in your music listening history, if a wave is red it means that you first listened this artist when you recently joined last.fm and if the wave is blue you just have discovered that artist, the brightness(dark red-light red) is just used to differentiate waves that are next to each other.

I uploaded my iTunes info but I can't make stats calculations with that data, what's wrong?

Currently the data that you have uploaded from itunes isn't added to the weekly charts in the web services, so at the moment is not possible to use that data to make stats calculations.

My data seems to be wrong after running the program in the beginning of 2009?

There was a very serious bug in last.fm webservices that produced empty xml files (That is empty charts) for any week requested by the program in january and february 2009. In order to fix this you need to delete all the data and download it again following the next steps:

1. Click "Settings" button, the one in the right of the username textbox.

2. Click "Open" button in "Downloaded Data Directory" Section.

3. Open "Users" folder.

4. Select all folders inside "Users" folder and delete them. (The folder names should be the usernames that you have used in the program)

5. Restart Last.fm Extra Stats and try to calculate the wave graph again.
