It's somewhat cliché to think that a particular year has been the 'best' for music, what with the many contributing factors that affect such dynamics, however, this one just past certainly contained some of the most amazing music I've ever had the opportunity to hear. It's a shame that I haven't had the time to properly sort this year's list outside of the top 20, or so, but here goes. Something a little different from my normal pre-best-of 'shortlist', is that I plan on implementing a star-based scoring system to aid with the final list-making process, as such, anything supplemented with stars will be recommended initially, using this basic ranking system..However, if you're anything like me, you'll listen to them all anyways..
