@redgrave9: I'm not trying to take them seriously (anymore). Does any seriousness come across? In that case, I apologise. And my comment towards FirestarterMKD was more to do with his spelling. I'm a bit of a grammar nazi. You're right about mathcore, by the way. :)

There are good metalcore bands...But there are so many shitty unoriginal metalcore bands that overshadow it. Also, Ryiss, you're somewhat wrong. Protest The Hero is Progressive Metalcore, not Mathcore. Mathcore is A LOT more spastic than PTH. If you want to know what real mathcore is, listen to Botch and compare the obvious differences between eachother.

Yeah, an original "-core" band would be nice, but I'd prefer an original "-core" joke. Also, @eyeseesnow: I doubt the anti-metalcore commentators hate metalcore the most; this is due to the presence of nu metal and deathcore.
