why do people make so much about the "americans being from other countries?" ultimately no one's blood line begins in their native country. most of all humanity can probably trace its origin to Tanzania or Ethiopia or what have you. somewhere in Africa. And for the other countries of the western hemisphere, they too have very recent populations from europe and Africa. especially a country like Canada. But I guess for most countries in this hemisphere they're seen more as continuations of Pre-colombian cultures since alot of them are Mestizo. but the US certainly isnt the only American-continent country with a large recent immigrant population, but it is the most diverse.
