wide mouth mason is my favorite band simply because of their bluesy rock sound, its amazing what they can produce as a three piece band and especially live. shaun verrault might be the best vocalist/guitarist i have ever seen let alone heard. if they went back to their early sounds they might still be big in canada doing bigger shows like they used to, still nothing but love for the band.

It's such a shame that these guys' material went downhill from the first two albums. The self-titled and Where I Started are nearly perfect from start to finish, but I just cannot say the same about their later discs. Stew had some cool tracks, and Rained Out Parade had a couple redeeming qualities. I picked up Shot Down Satellites hoping to maybe have them revert to their old style. Oh how wrong I was..... The music was constantly angry, and didn't contain any bluesy elements whatsoever.
