Although John Lawton said it was very cold in Saratov, he and his musicians were sweating like a fat man in a cake shop as they played Uriah Heep's most famous hits on the tiny stage of the local Young's People Theater. They were drinking a lot of вода (water) and John kept kidding about his young colleagues having hangover after drinking a plenty of vodka. Although the sound was of terrible quality and the show was too short the musicians did their best to please the audience by means of their energetic and skillful performance. John Lawton yelled he is alive and that seemed to be true. Long live Rock'n'Roll! It's immortal soul brought the grateful Saratov audience some kind of nostalgic musical happiness.
