前阵子才经历了核心团员之一Richard File离去的摇滚电气折衷派天团UNKLE，如今已成为首脑James Lavelle音乐创作上的另一分身。原本以为，这对向来慢工出细活的UNKLE会沉寂好一阵子，岂料继去年的专辑《War Stories》与今年年初限定地区发行的《More Stories》后，这回再度邀来Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age)、Gavin Clark (Clayhill)、Joel Cadbury (South)、Black Mountain与《War Stories》专辑制作人Chris Goss等强力客席乐手，再次连手交出另一专辑作品《End Titles… Stories For Film》。

辑中除了上述客席外，同时请来Massive Attack阵中的Robert del Naja (3D)担任专辑内页与插画设计。音乐方面，除收录知名音乐录像带导演Spike Jonze的滑板电影纪录片其中两首话题配乐〈Heaven〉、〈Blade In The Back〉外。

另一大话题，则是英国BMW广告曲〈Trouble In Paradise〉的完整版，而原本收录于《War Stories》中的〈Chemistry〉，添入Josh Homme的人声演绎，摇身一变成为〈Chemical〉一曲，甚至电影【Odyssey In Rome】中的多首配乐作品也一并收录其中。即便是在缺了一角的情况下，在客席火力奥援下，这回的《End Titles… Stories For Film》听来依然保有该团的音乐水平，抢耳依旧！

    I suggest last.fm made a 'platinum listeners' section or something like that. I mean, with those 11k scrobbles over past 6 years I feel kind of underrated.

    I love UNKLE. Until recently, I had actually only heard Psyence Fiction, but the rest of their stuff seems quite interesting too. I think it's time to check it all out on Spotify.

    Love UNKLE, but my only problem is all the (feat. <name> <name>) stuff in the tags... there's no consistency, so the scrobbles are all over the place. I guess it's best to forget about it and just listen :)
