It's the first one I heard as well and I think it's his best. Then again just about everything Townes did was pretty damn great, so it's hard to just choose one album. But yeah, I think it's his strongest album.

After hearing only a couple of his songs I knew Van Zandt was one of the greatest songwriters of all time. This rarely happens to me.. amazing man and musician, ridiculously underrated as well as many of you already said.
