@Nayr_ False. Everything in their discography up until this point showed growth and clear improvement. Spring Songs lacks that; it isn't more focused ideas of what was done well Floral Green, which it should be at the very least, nor is it integration of new influences. They have now fallen into their own sound, which I think Shed they were searching for and really perfected on Floral Green. The new EP is clearly that sound but half the songs are super uninteresting to me.
Blush is worth the price of admission alone. The fact that they're getting more and more versatile whilst still bringing stuff like this is amazing...Be A Toy is just amazing, it's pretty effortless in a very good way.
I'm not thrilled with Spring Songs. This is worth posting because up until now I've been really, really into what ever they put out, but this one didn't wow me. Be A Toy and Receiving Line would've made a nice single, as both those songs are fantastic. The others just sound, to me, like dull retreads of what they did on Floral Green. Receiving Line is one of the best songs they've ever done though, and Be A Toy is a nice upbeat catchy jam.
