今年，The White Stripes在万众期待之中的新专辑终于有了新动向，目前已经正式确定专辑名称为《Get Behind Me Satan》（撒旦为我撑腰）。与专辑一同到来的，还有他们早已计划好的一系列演出。在不久前《洛杉矶时报》的采访中，他表示，相比这张专辑，自己更重视随着专辑发放而开展的一系列演出，6月份，他们将首先在英国的“格拉斯托勃瑞音乐节”（Glastonbury Festival）亮相，“而之后我们则要去到一些并不熟悉的城市开辟新的演出市场，如果还有时间的话，也会考虑亮相纽约、洛杉矶和芝加哥等自己熟悉的城市，但由于那里的观众对我们太过熟悉，要还是以过去的形式演出，恐怕会让他们觉得腻味，所以在那之前，要想出一些新的花招，以便将其‘蒙混过关’”。专辑会在6月7日出版，而在此之前的5月底，单曲《忧伤兰花》（Blue Orchid）则先行推出。

It's probably my favourite or second favourite White Stripes album. And it's weird you mention "Though I Hear You Calling I Will Not Answer" as I'm almost sure I've got that track on one of their albums, and not as a b-side... But anyway, I haven't listened to them properly in a while.

Killer album IMO... it's all about The Nurse for me... Blue Orchid also had the incredible b-side "Though I Hear You Calling I Will Not Answer"... quite possibly my favourite Stripes tune!
