When i first grew out of chart music and switched onto indie in 86/87 My Favourite Dress (and George Best in general) was one of the first key tunes, together with the Mary Chain's April Skies and That Petrol Emotion's Big Decision. Those kind of tunes stay special for ever.

'Hipster' garbage? The Weddoes were in the distinctly uncool camp after '87/'88 ish. No hipsters would've gone near them. That said, Seamonsters is where its at, and from 20 year old memory, Dalliance live was just as sambedford, below, said, a rush.
