"So... am I the only person who likes all the waves of ska?" nope, same here, although i have to listen to more of the first wave. I'd say The Toasters sound to me like an american take on 2-tone ska than most third wave ska bands, possibly more true to the roots of ska as well, but i haven't really listened to them that much as of yet.

OK, so I was hesitant to put "The Toasters" in the same category as "Madness" and since "The Toasters" were really big in the 90's, I put them in the third wave. But if you consider 3rd wave only being stuff like "Spring Heeled Jack", "Mustard Plug" and "Regatta 69", so be it...those 'wave' classifications aren't that big of a deal.

i dont think they "define 3rd wave ska" 3rd wave ska i mainly shitty bands like less than jake who add real crap popppy rock stuff that reminds me of sum 41 to ska. which is a fucking terrible idea.
